Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, 11 p.m. — Nelson County EMS transported a 37-year-old man to Flaget Memorial Hospital from a residence on Nat Rogers Road Saturday night about 11 p.m. EMS and police were sent to the residence after Nelson County Dispatch received reports of an individual who was having suicidal thoughts. The man told first-responders he was depressed, anxious, had been drinking and taken a quantity of prescription pain killers. The man agreed to transport by EMS to Flaget.
