unday, July 13, 2014, 12:45 a.m. — Nelson County EMS was called Saturday evening to the 100 block of Hubbards Lane for a report of a 17-month-old boy who was unresponsive and not breathing. EMS received the call at 6:25 p.m., and police also responded to the residence. CPR was ongoing prior to the arrival of the EMS ambulance, and the child started breathing on his own. He was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
