Nelson County EMS called to county jail for woman injured in fall

Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, 11:20 a.m. — Nelson County EMS responded Friday morning to the Nelson County Jail for a woman injured in a fall. EMS was dispatched at 6:28 a.m. to the Nelson County Jail, 810 West Stephen Foster Ave. for an 83-year-old woman who lost her balance and fell in the jail’s kitchen area. She was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of hip pain.
