Nelson County EMS, city police respond for reported drug overdose

Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, 11:30 p.m. — A Bardstown woman was hospitalized Saturday evening after a reported drug overdose at a home on Templin Avenue. Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police were called to the 200 block of Templin Avenue for a report of a woman in her 30s who was drinking and had taken approximately 15 sleeping pills. EMS transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
