Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, 10:45 p.m. — The Northeast Nelson Fire Department 
responded Wednesday afternoon to a report of a truck on fire in the 6100 block of Yates-Cooney Neck Road. The fire was reported just before 3 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters arrived to find the cab of a 1-ton utility style truck fully involved in flames. Firefighters extinguished the fire and salvaged the utility bed and the tools on the truck.
