Adonna Ruth Rucker Brewer, 69, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at her residence. She was born May 17, 1948, in Shelby County. She was a graduate of Old Kentucky Home High School, a retired employee for Polyair, and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Monnie Rucker.
She is survived by one son, Arron Shane Rucker of St. Cloud, Fla.; five sisters, Thelma Hamilton of Taylorsville, Maxine Shouse of Frankfort, Delores Proffitt of Oakland, Darlene Tipton of Shelbyville, and Janice Tucker of Fairfield, Ill.; one brother Stephen Rucker of Prospect; two grandchildren, Nicholas Rucker of Louisville and Hannah Rucker of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held privately Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville at a later date.
Barlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
