David Lynn Oberlin, 67, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. He was born April 3, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to the late Donald and Gloria Pace Oberlin. He was a former IT specialist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Oberlin.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Wheatley Oberlin; one daughter, Amy Oberlin (Robert Patterson) of Chicago; three sons, Adam Gordon (Shelley) of Lebanon, Benjamin Walker of Nashville and Trevor Walker of Detmold, Germany; one sister, Karen Aitchison (Nicholas) of Laxton, United Kingdom; two grandsons, Alex Gordon and Chance Gordon; one great-granddaughter, Copelyn Gordon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private. Cremation was chosen.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
