Debra Joyce “Muff” Jones, 55, of Bloomfield, died Friday, May 06, 2016, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1961, in Bardstown to Gerald “Jerry” and Bonnie Hagan Stevens. She was a rural letter carrier for the Bardstown Post Office. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Matthew Stevens.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Jones; three sons, Jeremy Jones and Justin Jones, both of Bardstown, and Colton Jones of Bloomfield; her parents, Jerry and Bonnie Stevens of Bloomfield; two sisters, Betty Gail Keaton and Patsy (Jim) Simpson, both of Bloomfield; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Richard Carwile officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
