Dolores May Collins, 75, of Boston, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at her home in Boston surrounded by loved ones. She was born Jan. 6, 1943. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother and friend. She loved Jesus and is now in her eternal home. She was a homemaker, a foster mother, a friend to hummingbirds and had a green thumb. She will be missed until we meet again.
She was preceded in death by her son, Nelson; eight siblings; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Collins; one daughter, Scarlett Collins Meadows (Mark); one stepdaughter, Lisa Collins Votaw (Larry); six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Cremation was chosen.
Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
