Helen George, 73, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her residence. She was born Feb. 19, 1945, in Baird, Texas. She was president of the American Legion Post 121 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie George of Bardstown; four children, Helen Martin, Barbara (Ted) McMillan, and Connie (Tony) Middleton, all of Bardstown and Jimmie George Jr. of Orange Beach, Ala.; one brother, Ralph Lee Horton of Clyde, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
