Timmy Avis, 44, of Bardstown, died Monday, July 6, 2015 at his residence. He was born Jan. 28, 1971, in Bardstown. He worked for Kroger in Bardstown and was a member of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaitlyn Renee Avis; and his parents, Bill and Beulah Avis.
He is survived by two daughters, Haylee Marie Avis and Chloe Avis; three sisters, Debbie (Tony) Vittitow, Tana (Tico Mathis) Hardin and Malinda (Neal) Newton; one brother, Billy Avis; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
