William T. Hutchins, 75, of Bardstown, died Friday Nov. 20, 2015, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born August 12, 1940, in Nelson County. He was a Realtor/auctioneer, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan L. Hutchins; his parents, Raymond and Blanche Hutchins; five sisters, Lucille Yates, Alberta Lindsey, Beulah Welch, Lunette Gordon, and Frances Reidlinger; and two brothers, J.M. Hutchins and Raymond Hutchins.
He is survived by one daughter, Tina Jewell of Bardstown; two sons, Tony (Susan) Hutchins of Winchester, and Bill (Tracy) Hutchins Jr. of Bardstown; three sisters, Jean Clark, Barbara Carter, and Ardella Bowman all of Bardstown; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a companion, Agnes Lynette Chambers.
The Funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Monday Nov. 23, 2015, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
Visitation is 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, and 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service 6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
