Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, 3 a.m. — One person was injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of East John Rowan and Springfield Road involving a Ford Fusion and Jeep Cherokee, one of which crashed into a house.
Nelson County EMS, the Bardstown Fire Department and police responded to the injury accident at about 2:36 p.m. Firefighters had to rescue the victim from the vehicle. EMS treated the victim at the scene, then transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital. The victim was flown from Flaget to University Hospital in Louisville for evaluation and treatment.
