One injured Sunday after vehicle leaves roadway near Ben Irvin boat dock

Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, 11:10 a.m. — One person was injured Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Ben Irvin Road by the boat ramp. Nelson County EMS and police were dispatched at about 6:55 p.m. for a report of a vehicle off the road near the boat ramp. EMS treated the 49-year-old driver at the scene and transported him to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of head pain. The heavy fog may have been a factor in the incident.
