One person injured in car vs. school bus accident on S. Third St.

Friday, March 31, 2017, 1 p.m. — One person suffered minor injuries after an accident involving a school bus and a passenger car at the intersection of South Third Street and East Muir Avenue. Bardstown Police, Fire and Nelson County EMS were dispatched to the area at about 11:46 p.m. Witnesses at the scene said the driver of the passenger car suffered a head laceration. The victim refused treatment and transport by EMS. No one else was injured in the mishap.
