Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, 1 p.m. — One person was injured Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident at the 18 mile marker in the westbound lanes of the Bluegrass Parkway. Nelson County EMS and police responded to the accident at 11:07 a.m. that involved a Honda Accord that ran off the roadway and struck a tree head-on.
EMS transported a 19-year-old woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of lower back and pelvic pain. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
