Monday, April 20, 2015, 11:30 a.m. — A Bardstown man suffered minor injuries Monday morning in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Bellwood Road and Boston Road. Nelson County EMS, the Boston Fire Department and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to reported accident at 10:31 a.m.
According to police, a 1997 Honda Accord operated by Miguel Gayton Espinosa of Bardstown was traveling on Bellwood Road and attempted to cross Boston Road, pulling into the path of a 2011 Ford F-350 Nelson County Landfill pickup truck driven by Eddie Piles of Bardstown.
Espinosa was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment; Piles was not injured in the crash. Sergeant Kaelen Matthews of the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
