Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, 7 a.m. — Nelson County EMS responded to 509 W. Stephen Foster Ave. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. A 43-year-old man was crossing the street and was received what was called “a glancing blow” from a passing car. EMTs noted the man was suffering from some pain and a cut on his head. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
