Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, 2:20 p.m. — Two children, ages 8 and 3, were injured Monday afternoon after one was run over and the other fell out of a vehicle on Springhill Drive in Bardstown. The 8-year-old was run over, suffering multiple scrapes and abrasions. The 3-year-old suffered scrapes and cuts from the fall, but was apparently not run over. Both were taken by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded. The Bardstown Police Department is investigated the accident.
