Friday, June 13, 2014, 11:15 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and police responded Friday night to a residence on Nita Drive for a report of a individual with thoughts of harming himself. First-responders were dispatched to the area of KY245 and Nita Drive at about 10:50 p.m. The 33-year-old man told first-responders he had consumed alcohol and synthetic marijuana (“spice”) and had suicidal thoughts. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
