Police, respond to report of man who jumped from moving vehicle

Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, 9 p.m. — Police and Nelson County EMS responded to the 3500 block of New Hope Road for a report of a 24-year-old male who was extremely intoxicated and had jumped from a moving vehicle. The man suffered arm and hip injuries and was threatening to further harm himself. He was arrested and taken to the Nelson County Jail.
