Monday, May 20, 2013, 11:45 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and sheriff’s deputies were called about 9:30 Monday night to the 4000 block of Nat Rogers Road for a possible suicide attempt. Police and EMS found a deceased male subject inside the residence with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Nelson County Coroner and a police chaplain also responded to the scene.
