Monday, March 24, 2014, 12:15 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and police responded Sunday evening to a reported suicide attempt at a home on Meadow Lane. Police and EMS responded at about 6 p.m. to a report of a male subject who took an intentional overdose of hydrocodone pills. The subject left the home before police arrived but returned by the time police arrived. A deputy sheriff transported the man before the EMS ambulance was arrived. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
