Monday, Feb. 7, 2010, 12:56 a.m. — City police received a report that a witness just observed two black males break into a vehicle on Harriet Avenue and attempt to steal a CD player. They were unsuccessful, and were last seen running toward the area behind Busy Bee Market, 1411 North Third St.
