Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, 11:30 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman who was an employee of American Fuji Seal died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound Thursday afternoon while in her truck in the company’s parking lot at 1051 Bloomfield Road.
Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS arrived at the scene at about 12:30 p.m. and then requested the Nelson County Coroner come to the scene. The police department’s crime scene technician was also requested as part of the investigation. Police were on scene for about 2-1/2 hours.
