Wednesday, May 24, 2017 — Local police and the Nelson County coroner are investigating the death of a man who reportedly fell from the concrete bridge on 
Boston Road that crosses over Withrow Creek Road near the Bardstown city limits.
At about 2:26 p.m., Wednesday, Nelson County EMS and Bardstown firefighters were dispatched for a report of a man who was injured in a fall from the bridge. When first-responders arrived they determined the victim was deceased.
The identity of the victim and details regarding the death have not been released.
