Police respond to report of man attempting to collect utility bills

Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, 1 p.m. — City police are en route to meet with representatives of Salt River Electric on a report that they have received complaints about a tall white male canvassing the Barberry Lane area attempting to collect Salt River utility bills.

1:18 p.m. — Officers in the area report they are unable to find anyone matching the description trying to collect money in the neighborhood.
