Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, 10:45 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to report of a building on fire behind Subway on West John Rowan. The fire was not a building, but some repair work being done on the railroad tracks by R.J. Corman. Dispatchers told firefighters Corman had called to report their repair work along the tracks to Nelson County Dispatch about 20 minutes prior to the 911 call. The responding units were canceled.
