Saturday, March 19, 2011, 6:26 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Buchannan Boulevard for a report of two smoldering grass fires. A caller to Nelson County Dispatch said the burns were controlled burns in some landscaping, which was confirmed after the department chief arrived at the scene.
