Sunday, March 4, 2012, 9:55 p.m. — The Rolling Fork Fire Department was called Sunday morning to the area of Price Creek Loop and New Haven Road for a report of the strong odor of propane or natural gas. A deputy sheriff passing through the area about 6:05 a.m. requested Nelson County Dispatch to send firefighters to determine the source of the odor. By the time firefighters arrived the odor dissipated and they were unable to find the sources.
