Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, 2 p.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call by a mail carrier in the Nazareth Farms subdivision about 2 p.m. Saturday. The mail carrier said she observed Santa Claus driving around the neighborhood in a white Dodge truck and thought with the recent break-ins the Santa activity could be suspicious. The truck was registered to an individual who lived on Scenic Drive. An officer investigated and found the truck parked at a residence.
