Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, 9 p.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 100 block of Hill Street Friday afternoon for a report that a resident there found what was described as an “Iraqi headdress” he believed was placed in his yard on 9/11 in order to frighten him. A deputy responded to the call at about 3:45 Friday afternoon. The deputy examined the article and moved it.
