Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, 11:50 p.m. — A 17-year-old teenager was injured Wednesday night about 11 p.m. when he swerved to miss a deer on Woodlawn Road near American Drive. The vehicle the teen was driving left the roadway and went down an embankment. Nelson County EMS, police and the Bardstown Fire Department responded to the site of the injury accident. The teen was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of left arm and left knee pain.
