Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, 1:30 a.m. — The 16-year-old female driver of a van suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon about 2 p.m. when her vehicle left the road and overturned on Poplar Flat Road near Ed Pile Road. Parents of the two minor children who were passengers in van refused transport by EMS. The driver suffered minor cuts and complained of back pain. She was taken by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
