Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 12:40 a.m. — A 58-year-old man was injured Tuesday evening after he was thrown from a horse that fell on top of him. The accident happened about 6:10 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 4700 block of Bloomfield Road. The man complained of hip pain and numbness in the groin area. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS for treatment of his injuries.
