Saturday, March 8, 2014 — Two teenagers were taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown Saturday afternoon when the vehicle they were in left the roadway and rolled over.
Nelson County EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department were dispatched to the 1700 block of Poplar Flat Road for the rollover accident with possible entrapment at 3:38 Saturday afternoon.
One of the teens was partially ejected from the vehicle according to eyewitnesses. EMS transported a 17-year-old boy who suffered chest abrasions and complained of upper chest pain. His passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was still in the vehicle when EMS arrived, and suffered back pain and a hand injury.
