Tuesday, April 18, 2017 – Nelson County Judge Executive Dean Watts presented the magistrates Tuesday, April 18, 2017, with his initial draft of the fiscal year 2017-18 county budget. The $24 million budget includes several capital projects as well as funding for an additional sheriff’s deputy position and a new heavy equipment mechanic for the landfill.
