Monday, April 6, 2015, 1:30 a.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Nelson County EMS and the 
Boston Fire Department were dispatched at about 8 a.m. Sunday, April 5, to the Bluegrass Parkway’s Boston exit for a Dodge Charger involved in an injury crash. When firefighters arrived, the vehicle was fully involved in flames. The 34-year-old intoxicated female driver was taken by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of head and back pain. She was later arrested for driving under the influence and operating on a suspended operator’s license. The woman also had warrants from Florida, but they would not extradite. The woman was lodged in the Nelson County Jail. The vehicle was a total loss.
