Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, 9:04 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman was injured Wednesday night in an assault behind St. Monica Catholic Church, 407. S. Third St., at 8:14 p.m. Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police responded to the area. The woman suffered facial injuries and was bleeding from the nose and mouth. EMS transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital ER for treatment.
