Woman injured after her bike struck by car Monday night on Boston Rd.

Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 12:15 a.m. — A 23-year-old woman was injured late Monday night when she was struck by car while riding a bicycle in the 11000 block of Boston Road. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and Nelson County EMS were called to the Boston area at 11:10 p.m. after the driver of a 2006 Kia reported the accident. Police arrived on scene to find the victim suffering from a head injury and facial lacerations. EMS transported the woman to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown for evaluation and treatment of her injuries.
