Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, 11 p.m. — A 53-year-old woman suffered minor injuries Thursday evening after a single-vehicle rollover crash near the intersection of Lawrenceburg Road and Murphy Lane.
Nelson County EMS, police and the Northeast Nelson Fire Department were called to respond to the crash at about 8:24 p.m. Firefighters had to help get the door open on the vehicle in order for the victim to exit the vehicle. The woman, who admitted to first-responders she was intoxicated, was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital with right side pain and back discomfort. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.
