Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, 12:09 p.m. — A 37-year-old woman was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital Saturday after an apparent suicide attempt. Nelson County EMS responded to a residence in the 500 block of West Broadway in Bardstown where they found an intoxicated woman who had a small cut on one wrist from a knife. EMTs controlled the bleeding and she was taken to Flaget for treatment. The call to Nelson County Dispatch came in about 11:40 Saturday morning.
