Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, 10:47 a.m. — A 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after she suffered cuts to her left hand in an altercation with a man early Saturday morning. Nelson County EMS and police were called to the 2000 block of Coon Hollow Road at 2:49 a.m. Saturday when the incident was reported to Nelson County Dispatch. The assailant left the scene prior to the arrival of first-responders. The victim did not want police to make a report on the incident. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of her wounds.
