Wednesday, July 9, 2014 — The Nelson County Fair Public Speaking and Talent Contest is 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Nelson County Civic Center, 321 S. Third St., Bardstown.
Speech Awards
First place open show: Male Winner – $100 and a week’s pass at the Nelson County Fair; runner-up, $50
First place open show: Female Winner – $100 and a week’s pass at the Nelson County Fair; runner-up, $50
First place Farm Bureau Outstanding Male Youth, $100; runner-up – $50.
First place Farm Bureau Outstanding Female Youth, $100; runner-up – $50.
Talent Show
First place open show winner, $100 and a week’s pass at the Nelson County Fair; runner-up, $50.
First place Farm Bureau Talent Show Winner, $100; runner-up, $50.
FFA Awards – to FFA Chapter participants.
Nelson County Extension 4-H Awards – to 4-H participants
Nelson County Fair awards a one-day pass to all participants in both contests.
