March 15, 2011 — With the debut of the Nelson County Gazette’s Community News section, readers are invited to submit news items related to their school, civic organization or club.
“This is available as a public service to our readers — both those who are involved in local organizations and those who wish to find out more about their community,” Gazette editor Jim Brooks said.
“Photos are always a welcome addition, and really can help tell the story of what an organization is doing in the community,” he said. “Unlike other media, there’s no space limitation on the Gazette, and no charge for running your photos in full color.”
