Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 — The Kentucky Amateur Radio Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 and at 7 p.m .on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The meeting topics include: the status of the duplexers on the KARS 2 meter (145.47) repeater; Red Cross cooperation and the possibility of supporting the April Boy Scout Merit Badge Fair with a Radio merit badge station.
All amateur radio operators and anyone interested in learning about amateur radio is encouraged to attend KARS meetings. KARS conducts a general interest net at 9 p.m. every Sunday on the Bardstown repeater (145.470, PL 151.4). The KARS Weather Training Net is weekly at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays on the KARS repeater. All licensed amateurs are encouraged to participate.
