Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, 9 p.m. — A 41-year-old man was injured Saturday afternoon at the Buttermilk Days Festival when he was burned while lighting a gas grill.
Nelson County EMS responded to a report of an individual burned by a grill at about 4:50 Saturday afternoon. Apparently the man was lighting the grill and suffered flash burns when it ignited. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor burns to his upper body.
