Nellie Mae Mattingly, 85, of Loretto, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 15, 1930, in St. Mary’s. She was a former homemaker and member of Grace Baptist Church in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George G. “Bud” Mattingly; her parents, John Henry and Ruth Mae Mattingly; and two brothers, James Albert “Boots” Mattingly and William Herbert Mattingly.
Survivors include one son, Jessie Mattingly of Loretto and one grandson, Clay Mattingly of Campbellsville.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with Pastor Clellan Hays officiating. Burial is in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the funeral home.
