The Northeast Nelson Fire Protection District has an immediate opening for a member of its Board of Trustees.
The board is responsible for the affairs of the fire district and appoints the fire district’s chief and firefighters. The district is supported solely by funds from the property owners in the community.
The board consists of seven members; two are property owners in the fire district; two are firefighters/district members; and three are appointed by the Nelson County Judge Executive.
