Anthony Wayne “Tony” Carmicle, 67, of Bloomfield, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at his residence. Tony was born Nov. 5, 1958, in Liberty, to Bobby Ray and Norma Fay Wilson Carmicle. Tony worked at Lowes in the building department and was a United States Army Veteran. He loved UofK Basketball, Donald Trump, and all things political.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Carmicle. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Carmicle, his children, Felicia (Todd) Greer of Bardstown and Timothy (Krista) Carmicle of Oregon, his mother, Norma Fay Carmicle, four grandchildren, Lindsey Greer, Eli Carmicle, Cooper Carmicle, and Charlotte Carmcile, his siblings, Robin Tinnell, Robert Carmicle, Steven Carmicle, and Sara Giles, along with his closest and dearest friend, Jim Jones.
In accordance with Tony’s wishes cremation was chosen by the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, there will be no services at this time.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
